Bandits Bring NPF Championship to Rosemont

In thrilling fashion, the Chicago Bandits claimed their second NPF Cowles Cup Championship in late August, earning their second World Championship in team history, with a 10-3 victory over the USSSA Florida Pride.

The Bandits swept the USSSA Pride in the NPF Championship Series in Sulphur, La. with stellar pitching from the pitcher, Monica Abbott, and a burst of offense from rookie Megan Wiggins.

With the 2011 season in the books, the Bandits have already set their sights on the 2012 season and look forward to defending the Championship in Rosemont, Ill.
